The method of transfer from mother to fetus is unclear, so there isn't an estimate. If you think a mother might be infected, suggest she talk with her obstetrician.

During the pregnancy period maternal infection with listeria is very dangerous. In pregnancy maternal infection can cause infection to baby. Maternal infection is associated with measles virus. There had been no strong suspicion of this infection.
