There is no "South" to "rise" again. The southern states of the U.S. are doing just fine. Since the U.S. Civil War concluded, the country is unified.

No, the South will not rise again. Demographic shifts mean that soon, many areas in the South will be majority Latino, a group that has little interest in the Confederacy.

That's unlikely to ever happen. Most of us down here (I live in Georgia) are concerned with living today than with a what might be rooted in the distant past.
