Stainless Steele should not rust. That's why its called stainless. But it can become discolored if not cleaned properly. Its not a stain though, just grimy build up. Make sure to purchase a good set. Cheap sets wont last.

If they are true stainless steel then they should never rust. It has a special material in it that makes it resist oxidation.

If stainless steel is left to the elements... then yes, it will rust. Pots and pans that are properly kept up with (i.e. washed and towel dried) should not rust.

When it is properly maintain it will never corrode. Stainless steel has a special metal mixed in that make it resistant to stain and corrosion. Always use a non-abrasive cleanser when cleaning it. Never use a metal scouring pad. Both of these can damage the surface and cause stains as well as scratches.

Yes, over time. Stainless steel only means "rust slower". However, if you use it regularly, AND CLEAN IT, it shouldn't rust for 10 plus years.

It can if it is a cheap brand or quality, but its not supposed to. We prefer the non stick coatings on the pots and pans. My wife has a love affair going with pampered chef.

Yes, it can get rusty. The important thing is to wash and then dry immediately. Rust can be removed using steel wool and soap.

Stainelss steel will not rust, but, it will stain. Stains can be removed using vinegar and a scouring pad. Using a no-ccratch nylon pad takes longer, Stainelss steel can stand up to steel scouring pads. My stainess steel pots and pans are only about 25 years old, and still shiny.

Is stainless still and by its definition don't rust but make sure the material of the pot is stainless steel, should have a certificate or something.
