It is great for boiling and steaming, but it can cause food to stick if you use it for frying or for very high temperature cooking.

Cooking on stainless steel has become more popular since the non-stick pans have been linked to cancer. Stainless steel does not alter the taste o your food like cast iron but it is difficult to clean, to help with this you should always spray the area of the pan you will use with cooking spray.

Stainless steel is wonderful for cooking! Food does stick to stainless steel, but all you have to do is fill the pot/pan about half way with water, add a few drops of dish soap and let it boil until the food loosens. Stainless is best washed by hand.

Elements in stainless steel that affect our health are, iron , chromium, and nickel. All are beneficial to us. Those allergic to nickel should not use stainless steel.

When cooking with stainless steel make sure when having the stainless steel contact acidic foods (tomatoes, vinegar, lemon/lime/orange juice. This can cause a reaction in the food that will ruin the taste (it isn't harmful, just tastes bad).

You can use cooking spray on Stainless Steel pans unlike non-stick. If you burn something on the bottom of the pan don't scrape it off boil water and baking soda in the pan. Then you can use a pan scraper to scrape of the burnt food. It should come off very easily then.

i know that my stainless steel pan stick alot and need to spray good with pam and some time it still sticks
