Yes paint will go over uneven primer, but sometimes it is a good idea to use more paint over the parts of the primer that are uneven so that the paint will still be thick. But regardless, paint definitely goes over uneven primer, or even no primer at all. Good luck.

You can paint over uneven primer coats, but it could effect the appearance of the finish coat. The uneven primer coat would be more noticeable with lighter paint colors. The darker the color the less noticeable it would be. If you are very concerned about the final finish, just apply another primer coat before painting.

It will cover the primer but the paint itself will be uneven. If possible try sanding down the uneven spots in the primer first.
