Will I be able to breastfeed with an inverted nipple?

You can try. If that doesn't work then there is a flexible plastic nipple that goes on top of you that may work.

With proper breastfeeding technique, the baby will latch onto the areola and not the nipple, making breastfeeding possible. Pumping before a feeding can help draw out the nipple.

i had an inverted nipple and it was difficult to feed my baby, because she cannot get any milk from it. What the doctor advised is to use a nipple puller every time you try to feed your baby. I bought one and before feeding I pulled my nipple with the puller and let the baby suck it.

Though inverted nipples may provide a challenge to breastfeeding, it can be easily overcome. Many women have great success with nipple shields until the baby has a more established latch.

Yes. If your baby has a difficult time latching on, there are two things you might try. One is preparing the nipple by using a manual breast pump for a minute or two. You can also purchase nipple shields to wear while nursing. These make latching on easier for the baby.
