Unless your car is set up to run E85, it will hurt your car. It will cause damage to the fuel system and the injectors.

If it is designed to accept it, no. This is usually indicated by some type of E85 or "flex fuel" badging on the vehicle. If the vehicle is not designed to use E85 it will cause damage. E85 is corrosive to aluminium and other materials used in engines and fuel systems and will damage them over time.

Unless it's a flex fuel vehicle most cars will not run right on E85. E85 is 85% alcohol and most cars will run on 50% alcohol. Still wouldn't recommend it if it isn't a flex fuel.

A lot of vehicles built in the last couple of years are designed to be operate on normal gas as well as E85. You should look in you manual to see if this is an acceptable fuel. However you shouldn't not use it if you vehicle was not designed for it because it can damage your engine.

E85 can damage your fuel system if it was not deigned for that type of fuel. It will destroy alot of the rubber parts in your fuel system. The reason is because the ethanol concentrations are very high in E85. I would check with the manufactor.
