You will need to remove the old dead power supply. Once removed screw in the new one into place. There will be two plugs, going into the motherboard, one into each hard drive and power supply. Make sure the voltage is set to 110 on the power supply. Plug in a power cord and turn on.

All connectors on any ATX power supply will insert one and only one way. The molex connectors are tapered and each pin has a different shape. the large plug goes to the motherboard, fourpin to IDE drives and flat sata to sata devices.
