Diazepam (Valium) is a benzodiazepine, which is one of several classes of drugs tested for on a urine drug screen. It typically can be detected for 2-4 days after the last dose, however, it largerly depends on the dose taken. For instance, 10 mg taken once may not be detected.

Diazepam is the generic for valium. It is a benzodiazepine. Mostly all drug tests screen for benzodiazepines. It is a high lipophilic molecule and it tends to hang out in your fat cells for quite some time. It will show up long after the last use.

While diazepam is not an illegal drug it could still show up on a drug test because it is an oral depressant that can stay in the system for any where from 1 to 6 weeks.

Benzodiazepines will show up on a drug test, and valium (diazepam) is one of those types of drugs. You will not see diazepam specifically by name, but you will be able to tell that you've taken a drug of that type. Another common benzo is ativan (lorazepam). These are drugs commonly tested for.

Yes. Diazepam (otherwise known as valium) is a benzodiazepine drug used for sedative purposes or to treat anxiety. This drug is routinely screened for in drug tests. Diazepam is a fat soluble drug and has a long half life. It is not uncommon for individuals who take Diazepam to feel the affects again hours after initial ingestion.
