Will any type bobbin replace the Singer sewing machine bobbin?

There are different types of bobbins and not all bobbins will fit every Singer machine. There are metal and plastic bobbins which can be one solid piece or two pieces that screw together. Take your bobbin to the fabric store and you can match it up with the correct one.

No it will not. Every sewing machine requires a specific bobbin that fits in that machine. Use of the wrong bobbin will not allow the machine to work properly.

Yes any clear plastic or metal bobbin if that is your preference should fit just fine. You can find a new bobbin at any craft store.

Bobbins are generally interchangeable and come in three forms, plastic, metal with holes and metal without. It is usually the comfort of the sewer using one or the other. No matter the instructions for the machine you can generally use any. You will find which works better for your choice of thread and stick to it.
