Only go to an experienced tattoo artist. Ask to see their portfolio and look for photo tattoos that have been done if you like their work you should be fine.

Look for a tattoo artist who specializes in portrait tattoos.For a color photo tattoo find a color specialist. If you want a black and white find a specialist for that.

Whether or not your tattoo will turn out like the photo that you have chosen, depends entirely on the tattoo artist. If you trust your artist, then go for it.

There are plenty of photo tattoos that look amazing, it just depends on the tattoo artist. Make sure you check out their previous work first!
