How do you give yourself a tattoo?

I would really like a tattoo but I can not afford one, is it possible to give one to yourself?

This is a very bad idea. For one, it will look absolutely terrible if you don't know what you're doing. Secondly, you can get a very serious infection if you don't know how to properly sanitize your instruments. Furthermore, if you don't know how to give a tattoo, you certainly don't know how to care for one. Hire a professional.

It is possible, but it is a horribly bad idea. You would need to get a tattooing gun and ink, or other needle and ink, and this would cost you more than a tattoo, anyway. Also, tattooing is painful, and it is unlikely you will be able to have a steady hand while tattooing yourself.

it is possible to put one on yourself with indian ink and a needle, but i wouldnt advise it because then your stuck with a crappy tattoo for the rest of your life. you should save up some money and go to a tatoo shop to get one done. its expensive butworth it.

Some extremely talented tattoo artists give themselves tattoos, but this is after many years of practice. Self-tattooing is also limited to areas that you can reach. Sometimes, young tattoo artists will perform cheap or free tattoos, if you are willing to let them learn on you!
