Will a heating pad help a corn?

What about those microwavable heating pads?

One old corn pain relief remedy is to soak your foot in warm water. It is not recommended to "operate" on a corn yourself as this can cause infection.

No, probably not. Direct heat doesn't seem like it would do much to eliminate a corn. Using a microwavable heating pad also presents a burn risk and can be dangerous. It would probably be better to treat the corn by reducing the pressure and friction that is exerted on the affected area on the foot.

As far as I know no it will not. Talk to the druggist and they will be able to tell you what will help you out.
