Any lumps in a woman's armpits should be immediately checked because this can be a sign of breast cancer. Sometimes lumps occur from shaving or antiperspirant use.

It's very common to acquire cysts in your armpits as a reaction to ingredients in deodorants. Sometimes they just go away but if they are painful, see a doctor.

These most likely are swollen lymph nodes and they filter out an infection. If they do not go away, you should see your doctor as this can be a sign of serious illness also. If you are breastfeeding the lumps could be blocked milk ducts. In this case use hot water bottles to break it up.

You would have to go see a doctor because you could have a very serious condition like cancer in your lymph nodes. You would have to have tests run and exams done to make sure it is something not serious.
