Why would a dog wear an eye patch?

If the dog has recently scratched the cornea or the eye itself it can harm the eye if too much light is let into the eye; as well as keep the wound clean of infection and keep medication around the or in the infected area. The dog could have also recently lost the eye in a dog fight as well.

Well some people just put eye patches on there dogs for fashion. But most of the time the dog has something wrong with it's eye, like the dog might be blind in that eye and has to ware an eye patch.
