Why wont my sims 2 and 3 computer games run on my pc?

Checking the dvd software on your computer could be necessary. Make sure it is working and try another dvd to see if it will load and play. If it does not then there is something wrong with the computer. If it runs the sims computer games have a fault.

The most probable explanation is that your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to play the game. If that is so the best fix is to upgrade your computer to the required specs and see if that fixes the problem.

You may not have the correct specs to run the games. You need to have Windows XP/2000/98/ME, 3. 5 gigs of hard drive space free, and at least 128 Mb RAM.

The games may not work on your PC as they are not of high enough spec, check the box or websites to see if your PC can handle such games, if they do not meet the minimum technical requirements then you PC may be unable to run the games.

There could be any number of reasons for this. Are the games new? Scratched? Broken? Do you have the unique serial number in order to play? It should be located on the case. Make sure they are for PC and not for MAC. Check your display settings match the required.
