I own a 60' Mitsubishi DLP HDTV. It has served me well the last year and a half so far. I like my televisions to have a 16:9 aspect ration.

Mitsubishi WD-60C9 is a 60" flatscreen DLP HDTV and it's the best. It has a 1080p display (1920x1080 resolution). The HDTV offers a 16:9 (widescreen) aspect ratio and provides a remote and sleep timer, which will turn off the TV for you when the timer expires.

It is not recommended to buy a projection tv with todays technology. Projections are subject to screen burn ins, and have a low quality picture. An LED, DLP, or plasma would be the best to choose from, with brands such as Sony, Sharp, and Vizio as top choices.

Mitsubishi is the only company that is making rear projection televisions for the United States market, at least for the time being. Any TV that was made after 2007 should be 3D ready. Here are a list of the 60" models available. Mitsubishi WD-60737...$1,067. Mitsubishi WD-60735...$1,500. Mitsubishi WD-60638...$750-$1,000. Mitsubishi WD-60C10...$700-800. Mitsubishi WD-60738...$1,095-$1,400.
