Why wont my air conditioner fan turn?

The motor is probably burned out. First I would try unplugging it and then plugging it back in. If it's direct wired, turn of the circuit breaker that it's on for a few second and turn it back on. If it doesn't work, it will have to be replaced.

A reason could be that the fan motor short circuited and need to have it replaced or just buy a new one.

The fan may have went out on it, you will need an air conditioner repair person to check it out and see what is going on. But the fan probably just went out on it. You may need to replace it.
