Why is the legal age 18?

It is the legal age simply because the government says it is. Officials believe that young people should be considered adults at 18, but still require a 21 and older drinking age limit. Many people think that being 18 means being mature, but this has been proven to not always be the case.

People generally graduate from high school at the age of 18. This is a the age when people are expected to have gained enough maturity to make rational descissions.

18 is the legal age. Because at the time of age 18 most of the complete schooling or they get equal experience.
