One of the reasons concrete will crack around a pool is an indication of the result of freezing and thawing of water throughout the four seasons, especially if you happen to live in an area which is cold enough for this to happen. After just a few short years, this will become evident.

Soil stability and level affect concrete paving. When it rains, soil expands and pushes concrete up. As the ground dries out, the soil levels go back down. Frost heaves can also cause concrete to crack. Water will get under the concrete and then expand in freezing temperatures. If your pool is on a hill, it could also be soil subsidence.

Unless the concrete around your pool has been in place for several years, it was probably installed incorrectly if it is starting to crack after a short time. Settling of the ground around the pool will cause it to crack over time, but you should contact the contractor if it is relatively new.

Reason is may be two things.one is bad concrete mixture, another is settling of land near pool due to water leakage.Usually the concrete mixture will take some times to settle down,in case if you does'nt allow your concrete to well settle during construction.
