Why is my wife acting distant?

My personal experience is that I've distanced myself from my husband due to his verbal abuse and threats to divorce me for even the littlest problem. I'm tired of being hurt.

Every conceivable answer boils down to one thing: there is something on her mind that is bugging the daylights out of her. Maybe what's bugging her is a secret. Maybe it has to do with you. Maybe it's a big deal, maybe not. Ask her.

If your wife is acting distant, then it most likely means you've done something stupid or something she doesn't like, but won't outright come out and say it. Think about why she might be angry or upset at you. Think about when she first started becoming distant. Might give you some clues.

It could be that you have hurt her feelings in some way and she does not want to say anything because she does not want to start an argument.

There could be a variety of reasons. She could be mad at you, or she could be avoiding talking to you because she is having an affair or something. If this behavior came on suddenly, it is best to talk to her doctor.

maybe you did something that is botherin her, this is happening to me with my husband I just don't want to get hurt

There could be built up resentment or she doesnt feel important. Am going through this with my husband. Or, she could be feeling 2nd best ! My husband ignores my needs & wants & that makes me feel unworthy
