It could be as simple as a clogged fuel filter. After time flakes of rust from the gas tank can build up on the little filter screen.

one of the reasons is more than likely the fuel filter is stopped up. go to a gas station and they have stuff that will help with that.

There could be a crack in the fuel line or a clog. Hesitation especially in an old truck can be caused by a number of things.

Because your fuel filter is blocked and needs to be changed! Or else your fuel pump is bad and needs to be replacsd!
