Does the Conure have a mate? If the eggs are infertile they are not getting made fertile by the male conure. Is the habitat nurturing to the Conures for mating? You might provide things like more seclusion and nesting materials to encourage mating in your birds. If eggs are not fertile it's more like a male bird problem.

All female birds lay eggs, even if they are not fertilized. It is almost like a woman having her period. Remove unfertilized eggs from the nest.

We have a conure who has laid FIVE eggs in the same period. She continues to lay on them, and we're concerned. She hasn't 'abandoned them'. Should we remove them?

Leave the eggs till she abandons them or she will continue to lay. She will abandon them within 3 weeks. This is what a vet told me. (unless the egg is damaged, in that case, remove the damaged egg.)
