Why is my propane stove creating black soot on my pans?

Answer by  AlexNikk (14)

Because it uses gas and gas gets burned. Try to adjust the flame of your cooktop. Be sure it's all blue because if it appears to be like yellowish, that's what

The soot that is getting on your pans is called carbonization. It may be caused by not using the right pans. You need to use stainless steel. You should also check and see what color your flame is on your propane stove. The flame should be blue. If it orange or yellow have your stove checked out by a professional.

If your stove has been creating this type of particle on your pans then you will want to replace your main pump first. Then the black stuff should not appear any longer.
