What kind of propane do you use for a deep fryer?

Deep fryers can use either natural gas, which is often refered to as propane, or liquid propane, often refered to as LP gas. You need to check your manufacturers instructions before installation.

You can use any kind of propane that is used for outdoor barbeque's and deep fryers. You can get it at just about all large grocery stores and home improvement chains. Just ask for help inside.

You have to buy the propane in steel bottles. If you don't have the connectors, get advice from a bottled gas supplier. There are lots of suppliers, but they don't all have the knowledge to make safe connections. However, they should be able to tell you where to go.
