Why is my dog's face swollen?

It could be that your dog, especially if he is a puppy or a young dog, has tried to catch a bee or a wasp and the insect stung his lip. It could also be that he tried to chew some nettles and once again the stinging made his lip swell.

It may be because he either got stung by or ate a bee. It happened to my dog, but we just gave him some benadryl and it went down.

He could have been stung by an insect. You'll never know it could even be cancer. Please bring your dog to the vet ASAP.

Possible that it is a reaction to an insect bite, but you should take the dog into the veterinarian as soon as possible.
