Maybe it doesn't eat the food that you give to here or because you changed the type of the food (low fibers food decrease bowel movement) or maybe it has a tumor in her intestine (emergency) so you have to visit a veterinarian to check for the patency.

There may be a parasite (worm) in the cat's digestive system. The parasite feeds on contents of the digestive system rendering excretion absolete. This can be easy to resolve.

This could be an EXTREMELY urgent medical condition. Take your cat to the Vet/ER IMMEDIATELY! It could be as simple as the cat having worms and not getting enough substance intake, or blockage from something it ate. Either way, this is a very serious situation!

Sometimes cats like to eat string or other odd objects, and that can obstruct the intestine. Otherwise, not enough water, or maybe new food can do these things. You could also check for hairballs, which can be solved by buying a cream from the grocery store.
