Seborrhea or "hot spots" can occur from overgrooming on the cat's part. Hair loss during pregnancy could be the cause. Food allergies can be the cause of the "hot spots" that result in hair loss. Folliculitis, or infection of the hair follicles, may be the culprit. Flea allergies may exist.

Kitty may have diarrhea, with burning and irritation, or the opposite, she may have hard stools that are clinging to her fur- either way this is a symptom and you may need to go to your vet to see why. Your litter may be abrasive, she may be rubbing her bum on the carpet to get rid of feces sticking.

Reasons including habitual excessive grooming, allergy, skin infection (ex. ringworm), scarring from previous wounds can all cause the hair loss.

That's her anus. That's the one part where there isn't supposed to be hair. She will probably stick it in her face, for some unknown reason.
