The most common cause for a lump in the stomach(or any part) of a snake, is that it recently ate. Snakes consume their prey whole, which means that they also digest it whole. You will see the last thing it ate (usually mice), moving all the way down the body. This is totally normal.

The most probable reason for a lump in your snakes stocach is that it has recently ate something. Snakes extend their jaws and swallow their prey whole. Then it gets worked down the stomach walls and is slowly digetsted. The lump will continue to grow smaller.

There is probably a lump in your snakes stomach from undigested food or parts of food that a snake cannot digest. He will more then likely vomit that portion up in a couple of days or digest it completely. If it lasts for more then a week, you should have a vet take an x-ray just to be cautious.

Usually when a snake has a lump in its stomach it means it has recently eaten something that its stomach is currently working to digest. If it has not eaten something recently this can be a serious heath problem i would suggest contacting a vet to take care of this soon.
