Why does my lawn have yellow patches?

If you have a dog, the ammonia from his urine will eventually kill the grass. He will revisit his favorite pee spots, and over time they show up as patches.

You have got the grub leather jackets in your lawn you will have to go to your garden center and buy some lawn fertiliser keep lawns leaves free.

Yellow patches are most likely areas where an animal has urinated and has deposited ammonia into the lawn. This will kill the grass thus turnign it yellow.

It could be that your lawn mower is leaking fluids. Gasoline, oil, etc. are not good for your lawn. More details will get you better answers.
