Why does my Kenmore washer fill with water then stop and do nothing?

May be the problem with the Electronic Module,if the Electronic Module is not working it will not work properly,also you can check the Motor is functioning properly.

Check the last load you did? Was it heavy, rugs or overload the machine? Unplug the machine, let it set for a few minutes, plug it in and check.

The reason may be the Main Control Module (P C B) is not working for your machine.If the problem with P C B you can try to repair it by replace any transisitor or I C,If not possible you need to replace it.Also you can go through with trouble shoot as per your user manual what you have provided.
