Why does my dog shake his head in the morning only?

I notice both my long eared dogs do this too. I always joke and say they are trying to fix there messed up hair.

It could be him just trying to "shake the cobwebs out". Seriously, check his ears to see if there is any discharge or bad odor. He could have an ear infection. If you think he does have an infection, you might want to take him to the vet.

Usually shake is indicate something going on ear. then full of hair surround in ear it will caused so many problem and ear infection. so it will shake ear.

A dog usually shakes his head in the morning after he wakes up. Its kind of like him yawning or exercising his brain!
