Your blood sugar stay high because it might be become diabetic. High blood sugar occurs when levels of sugar in the blood go above range. The correct range of a normal person is to have blood sugar levels between 80-120 mg/dl. Diet and exercise which will help you the blood sugar to come down.

You may be a diabetic if your blood sugar stays high or low and does not regulate properly. You should see a doctor and let them do some tests.

Because you haven't gotten it regulated, it takes awhile to get your blood sugar levels to go back to normal.
