Veterans day started in 1919 but didn't become a legal holiday until 1938. Veterans day is celebrated to honor those who died for our freedom and safety.

Veterans day was started in 1919 by President Woodrow Wilson to honor the end of WWI. Now it's celebrated to honor our Veterans who served in all of the wars our country has fought in.

Our Veterans deserve a day of recognition for their heroic time in any type of war. They risk their lives for our freedom, and a special day in their honor is very important

We celebrate Veteran's day to honor military members, both present and past. Veterans day started on November 11th as a way to honor the soldiers who fought in WWI.
