Why do teens want to be so unique?

Teens what to be unique so they feel they are different than their peers. The problem is most teens don't realize they are just like everyone else. They should try to be themselves and by doing that they would be more unique.

Every teen goes through phases where they want to be diffrent and don't want anything to do with their parents. Don't worry, they get over it in time.
