Why do so many smart people have an inferiority complex?

Many people of high intelligence are experts in one small topic or niche, then extrapolate that they know everything about everything - and then feel inferior when they aren't right.

Many smart people have an inferiority complex, not even able to shake hands with some other person because of this complex. This happens to them because of some incident of the past which they are unable to forget over a period of time. The smartness is not linked to inferiority rather inferiority is linked to the past of the person.
