There is no such thing as marriage being outdated. Maybe the views of what marriage was thirty years ago have long gone, but marriage is still the commitment between lovers.
Marriage is tradition and comes from the Bible. It is a sin to live together and the Bible says you will not inherit the kingdom of God if you have sex outside of marriage. As long as there is a Christian left on earth there will be marriage.
