Why can I not download text from my tmobile dash?

According to online troubleshooting sites, several have incurred the same problem. You may be able to fix it by taking out the battery and doing a manual reset.

There may be a data problem. Try resetting your phone. Next step is taking out the battery and doing another reset. Make sure you are actually in a service area. If you connect via USB make sure the USB port is not damaged as this could gum up the works.

If you are using the same computer as yesterday, check your computer's security settings. Sometimes Widows updates automatically chage the security setting wich may then prevent access to your phone.

This problem could because, possibly you have two much memory used up from all of the text downloading. If you delete some stuff you may have more room on your phone and better luck. You could also buy an aditional mobil memory device to save yourself room on your phone and time.

It is likely a software error, try restarting the factory settings, or try a different SIM card is probably a temporary blockage that perhaps a simple restart will be removed.

I have had the same problem with my dash. Tmobile service is so shoddy! I went to Tmobile and they had to reset my phone but after that it worked.

I myself own a tmobile Dash, I've never experience this problem with my phone. I would suggest you view your settings and be sure your phone is set on enable. If this does not work contact the customer service department at tmobile and explain your issue of not able to accept text messages.
