Why am I seeing pink spots?

If you are seeing pink spots (or any other color spot) you need to consult with your eye doctor. Seeing pink spots is a very common early symptom of age related macular degeneration and will need to be treated by a certified physician. If have only seen the spots once, you might have looked at a light too long.

Usually pink spots will come with a high grade fever or a sever rash. If there is itching with the rash DO NOT scratch it.

It may be because of some viral infection. Give enough rest to your eyes and consult an eye specialist. There is no need to worry.

You may have "eye floaters" in the conjunctiva of your eye. These can be interpreted by your brain as pink spots, depending on their particular characteristics. These usually go away on their own.

There may be some changes going on with the eyes, the brain, the functions between the two. Age needs to be factored in, location, health of the eyes, and preexsisting conditions as well. Consult a doctor if one has not already been consulted.

This may be because you have ingested a hallucinogenic drug such as LSD or PCP, amongst numerous other possibilities. You also may have suffered a concussion or otherwise traumatic head injury. You also could be suffering from a lack of breathable air, or the opposite, hyperventilation. There is no reason to see spots which is good.
