Why am I scared to go to high school?

If you're going to high school for the first time, it's natural to have some fears about anything new and especially such a major change in your life. There will be challenges in socializing with new people while making the academic progress needed for your future college and career plans.

Its a whole another environment, with many people that you've never met, and some of them will turn out to be jerks. You don't know how the system works, or where anything is, so of course you're going to be nervous. That's okay. In a couple years you'll get to laugh at the freshman.
