Can you tell me why college is better than high school?

College is better because you are enabled to grow and become your own person. In high school, you're confined by your parents, by your teachers, and by your peers, who you've probably grown up with. In college, you pretty much have a clean slate. The majority of the population won't know you - so you can grow.

College is better because you actually get to choose the classes that you want to take and focus on learning about something that you are specifically interested in. The social life is also much better. Since you live in dorms with thousands of other kids your own age, you can always find a group of people doing something fun.

Educationally, it allows you to focus on the subject that interests you the most to prepare for a career. Socially, you form lifelong bonds.

In college, you get to choose far more of your classes based on what you enjoy doing and learning about. Also, because you spend all day and night surrounded by other students your age, you have better social opportunities.

College is better than high school for many reasons. One, with a college diploma you have access to much better, higher paying jobs than you could ever get with only a high school diploma. Also, college can increase your independence, self-reliance, problem solving, time management and many other important life skills.
