Who were the parents of moses?

The birth of Moses in Exodus 2:1 does not mention the names of Moses' parents, just says that they were both of the tribe of Levi. Exodus 6:20 says that his parents were Amram and Jochabed. However, other information about Moses' ancestors from Genesis 46:11 doesn't match the timeline of Exodus.

Amram and Jochebed were the parents of Moses. After the Pharoah ordered all Jewish male children be killed, Jochebed sent Moses down the Nile River in an attempt to save him.
