Old people love the film, they consider it risque and entertaining as a musical. It's also shown to teenagers who like musicals or may be doing the musical grease for their school. For some reason people consider it popular and entertaining happen to be old and in their retirement age.

Grease is one of those classic films that keeps old fans coming back while continuing to find new audiences. 'Tweens who like the High School Musical movies tend to enjoy Grease when they discover it, as do their mothers who saw it as teenyboppers themselves.
