NYC's Becco is a hit with middle-aged suburban housewives who flock to the city each night to enjoy Chef Lidia Bastianich's prix-fixe menu. Bastianich is a hugely popular chef on PBS (Lidia's Italy) and has written a best-selling cookbook. She has three other restaurants, including Felidia's in NYC, and "Lidia's Italy" in Pittsburgh and Kansas City.

Lidia Bastianich and son, Joseph, opened Becco in 1993. Lidia is a famous cookbook author who hosts "Lidia's Italy" (a cooking show) on PBS. William Gallagher is the exec chef.
