Who should come first your wife or your child?

I have always been told that your spouse should come before your children. For example, if your wife tells your child that they are grounded, even if you do not think it's fair, you still need to support your wife in that decision, even if your child gets upset with you.

A husband and wife should put each other first until they have a child together. Once the child is born the child comes first. Normally, the mother agrees with this.
