Who makes the Maycor brand?

Maytag does make the maycor brand it is not as good as the Maytag brand. Maycor is the good off brand if you don't have a lot of money to spend on appliances. I own a Maycor dryer and it does not work that great but it still works and it is cost efficient.

All sources I could find said that Maycor is owned by Maytag but produces appliances under the name of Maycor.
