Personally, I like Sony. We have had the best luck with it NOT skipping. Not to mention the removable face is a SERIOUS bonus! No worries about it disappearing while we are away! Ease of installation and compatable to other electonics are bonuses!!

Since you mention truck, there may be off-roading so you need a shock-proof CD Player.The CD does Not skip when you hit a bump I recommend Philips and their Philips AX 5014 CD Player

I think sony makes the best cd players in trucks, in my ford i have a five cd, cd player it sounds great!
