Elmer's brand is great for non-toxic glue. In addition, it's pretty inexpensive and available pretty widely at locations such as OfficeMax and even Wal-Mart. All of their commonly available products, from glue sticks to normal paste are non-toxic; feel free to choose which format you would like your adhesive in!

I have small kids and we always use Elmer's washable school glue. It is safe,non-toxic, and always washes off. Even when we were kids we always used Elmer's products. In just about any store that carries school supplies,they will have Elmer's glue. There are alot of other brands out there too, probably just as good.
