Wal-Mart has it all, not surprisingly, -race car beds for kids included. The price ranges are from $100 to $300 dollars, in red or blue, compatible with twin sized mattresses.

I know for a fact that Step 2 makes a great and sturdy race car bed for toddlers transitioning from "baby beds" to "big kid" beds.
