At this point, you can get 32 GB in a USB flash drive. You should consider larger hard drives - 320 GB and above. After that, it's a choice between internal and external, extremely portable and less portable. But Western Digital and Seagate are the two best known companies that make hard drives.

Fujitsu had smaller content drives (30Gb-50GB) as recently as last year, Maxtor and Seagate no longer provide smaller drives but can replace warantee drives in limited supply.

Hard drives of that size are rarely made new nowadays; however, Hitachi is relatively well known for their hard drives, and it is not unreasonable to say that one might be able to order one of that size. Otherwise, there is the option of used Hitachi hard drives.

There are a lot of companies that make good hard drives. You could go for a Seagate or Maxtor I have had good experiences with these.
